outside environments supporting children’s progression through the areas of learning in the early years foundation stage. our fully inclusive practice ensures that all families and children are made to feel welcome and we endeavour to support each child’s learning through individual planning and observations. in our most recent ofsted inspection we were rated as a “good” september 2016 towers nursery for your child and when it was time for my eldest to go i visited several around ashford, but i knew from the minute i walked in to towers tiny tots preschool that it was the right one for us. my eldest has now left and started school over a year ago and my 4 year old and 2 year old have both started at tiny tots preschool. i have had so many questions over the years that have been answered and fully addressed with time and compassion, i had no idea what skills my son would need when he started school but luckily the preschool were able to guide him in the right direction. they did an amazing job of teaching him and encouraging him in the skills he needed, we all think they need to be able to read and write before they get to school but actually its the preparation skills they need most, from understanding how lunch time works to taking out there plates using a knife and fork, learning to hold a pen, learning to make choices etc. i quickly learnt that things he had done at playschool that i dismissed as merely play were in fact so important in teaching him foundation skills to move forward at school. my son is thriving at school and the playschool was a huge part of that i cannot thank the playschool and all the amazing staff enough for the job they do, my son loved his time at the playschool and as a result was completely ready for school. i am incredibly glad set in so, when we found towers tiny tots pre-school, we were completely put at ease. whilst being shown around the setting all he children were laughing and playing with each other so well. the staff answered our questions above a level required and even answered a lot before we had the chance to ask. from that moment we knew this was the pre-school for all of us. 2 years on our son has started school and his report came back that he is above the level they were expecting at his age. our second son has joined the pre-school and he too is excelling. the pre-school notified us that our youngest has a speech impediment and we have all worked together to work on this with him. his language is developing so well and nothing is holding him back. i truly could not recommend the towers tiny tots pre-school setting enough. the staff have been there to support and help with all our parenting learning and are always there for both boys" nursery if you are looking for a nursery with a caring, family feel then tiny tots is perfect. my child has been there for over 2 and a half years and absolutely loved it, she often didn't want to leave when i picked her up! she has grown as a person socially and academically supported by caring and passionate staff. choosing a nursery and leaving your child can be stressful and anxious but tiny tots took that all away. children are treated as individuals and their needs are identified and supported whether that be in terms of behaviour, learning or social needs. tiny tots has prepared my child well for 'big school' and i can't thank
